Chef David Domingues

“Simplicity is the last step into wisdom”: this is the concept the young David Domingues used to seize the challenge called Restaurant À Terra.

He is the Executive Chef of the first restaurant in the hotel chain DHM, the reputable À Terra, which first opened its doors in 2014 at the Praia Verde Boutique Hotel.

Delicious, homely, rustic and healthy are the four main pillars that create the foundation for Chef David’s signature cuisine, using local products and a menu that seeks the genesis of Portuguese and international cuisine, mixing both in tasty creations.

Chef David Domingues is experienced for his age. Passing through the Hotel Vila Baleira in Porto Santo, coming to Porto Dona Maria Resort, two years at the Água Hotels Vale da Lapa, and the wellness experience at the Longevity Monchique Resort made him a man of several qualities able to adapt his cuisine to his restaurants and vice versa.

His constant search for perfection, innovation and mostly the challenging way he presents his dishes has made À Terra a mandatory stopping point for Algarvian cuisine.
